In honor of Latinx Heritage month, our Education & Workforce Services (EWS) and new partner Boeing have teamed up! In October, Boeing and EWS will host I Heart Science Day "Steaming through Latin America" right in our own backyard at our 2800 North American St. parking lot. Through this partnership, Boeing will help our students gain fundamental 21st century skills relevant to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). There will be food, entertainment, and fun activities that will expose our students to culturally appreciative demonstrations that support their ability to think critically, solve problems, collaborate, be creative, and communicate effectively. Congreso Awarded Direct Relief fund grant | |

This month Direct Relief announced 40 organizations nationwide that would be receiving $8.1 million in grants from its Fund for Health Equity. We're excited to share Congreso has been named one of those awardees!
