Giving Tuesday is TOMORROW!

We've been eagerly anticipating this inspiring day of giving, and dedicated stakeholders like you are the reason! If you're as passionate as we are about enabling individuals and families in predominantly Latino neighborhoods of Philadelphia to achieve economic self-sufficiency and well-being, then we hope you'll consider supporting Congreso de Latinos Unidos tomorrow for #GivingTuesday!

In case you're wondering about the importance of your gift, here's a selection of our impact outcomes that were made possible through contributions in Fiscal Year 21:

  • 114 clients obtained industry-recognized certifications

  • 248 clients avoided homelessness

  • 45 clients purchased a home

  • 162 clients accessed pre-natal care

  • Over 5,000 COVID-19 vaccines administered

#GivingTuesday2021 will help us continue to support the health, housing, parenting, education, and workforce development needs of families in our community!

Congreso Success Story: Linda Morales

Meet Linda Morales, a mother of three who recently graduated from our Human Services Pathway Program! Enrolling in the program enabled her to accomplish her personal goals despite the ongoing challenges of COVID-19.

“I discovered the Human Services Pathway Program during a time where my struggles seemed to overshadow my dreams. This program helped me remember my "why" and fortify my passion to create a positive change within my community. It was a challenging and fast paced course yet fun, relatable, and with encouraging mentors. Thanks to this program, I finally feel like I am becoming the person I am meant to be. Now, I'm even volunteering in the community as a ‘Congreso Promotora’ to raise awareness about the COVID-19 vaccine and hopefully many other opportunities in the future. I am forever grateful that they gave this mom of three a chance to put her dream and goals back into focus.”

In partnership with the Lenfest Foundation, Temple University’s North Philadelphia Workforce Initiative, and Temple University Harrisburg, The Human Services Pathway program is designed to prepare students for employment in the human services field.
