Congreso Health Center COVID-19 & vaccine update

Congreso’s Health Center has been working tirelessly to help fight the current COVID-19 pandemic. As of March 25, 2021, Congreso has already administered 751 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination. To help support our Health Center staff, Congreso has partnered with Aveanna Healthcare and has hired 13 temporary staff  for vaccination  distribution. The Congreso Health Center will soon be able to vaccinate about 500 people per week with these new team members!

Congreso has also been in touch with multiple partners to advocate for equitable vaccine distribution. Members of our team have been a part of focus groups, training, and virtual events to help spread awareness and enhance public knowledge on all things related to COVID-19. A special thank you to the Congreso Health Center team and partners for their support!

To conclude the month, we are excited to share Congreso de Latinos Unidos has been recognized with a 2021 Top Workplaces Woman-Led Culture Excellence award! This award could not have been possible without the collective work that goes on behind the scenes from everyone in the Congreso Familia!
